Back in 99, an independent label released Bomb Azz, Foe Tha Love Of It Vol.1 -- a compilation CD that housed underground acts from all over the metro. Today I'm letting go of the posse track from the album which featured Rapskallion original members - Krazykyle, Jeff Demarco and Proof Positive; G Money from Holla Fame; C-Poetic and Mary of Cyphasis; Trife 1 better known as J.O.L.O. from Flip Joint; Kristyles and Playa P of Grounded now known as Pasta Groove. I might be missing on some names, these are just names off the top of my head.
I bought a cd of this release and asked Krazykyle to sign it when I saw him at a show at Super-O back in the day. After the posse track, dont press stop yet as there is an unreleased track, bonus if you may -- of Rapskallion singing they verses. This was very integral for me to understand that hiphop is about pushing the boundaries and still have fun with it. And yes, Krazykyle was dope before all this Piling Sikat shit -- he was sparring his rhymes with Jeff Demarco and Proof, so no doubt his old tracks are way better.
