DJ Arbie has been blessing us with history since his Urban Flow days crafting hits to his peers -- an AWIT AWARD recipient for his work on Miss Pakipot (correct me if I'm wrong). Dont ever mistake kindness for weakness, this soft spoken DJ is crafty and has done everything imaginable no matter what the scale is. He has rapped on tracks spiting game on females (check the first Urban Flow album), he has produced for some of the most significant emcees Pinas will ever see, fathered the United Freestyles movement, produced the most sought after underground release in Pinas via Down Earf (Ace One x Caliph8), is the corner stone of Pamilia Dimagiba's sound, Pinas' premiere turntablist -- competed for the DMC title once or twice, DJ's across the metro, directs music videos for him and his peers, directing shows, making corporate AVP's -- and still bangs on his MPC to deliver his mixtape for you to trip on!

Arbie is such a crate digger and a visionary ahead of his peers that while everyone was keen into beefs, beats, rhymes and well the flashiness of it all -- he took a camera and started filming. I've seen Arbie film for the longest of time. For what? A documentary to be shown ten years from now? I'll never know and I have given up on trying to figure it out. All I know is, he has documented things every single time -- I wouldn't be surprised to see him enter a film festival should he decide to cut and splice all his videos to an hour and 30 minutes. Arbie and his team also runs Soulsonic -- which started out as a newsletter back in the day and now has shifted to an updated blog site of Filipino Hiphop news.

News is, he is doing the finishing touches to his 3rd installment of United Freestyles which will include Marquiss, Nyco Maca, Nimbus and more of your favorite emcees. And that Team Manila is designing the CD layout and also coming out with a collaboration shirt under their Daily Grind line. If that isn't POWER, I don't know how else to put it. Rumors has it that DR ARBIE and ILL J will be doing a whole album together. DJ Arbi is constantly doing shows, DJing around the metro -- and now has aligned himself with Locked Down Entertainment -- Arbie is still the corner stone of Corner Eye films and he is still leading the way, and what I truly like about it, is he gets his team involved in everything -- shoutouts to Corner Eye!. His release as The Beat Traveller "Future Past" album has got to be one of the most anticipated DJ release from the Philippines ever.
