Jazze Manuel - Just Say Goodbye (Produced by Bojam of Flipmusic)
Penned by the multi-faceted Mista Blaze and music by Bojam. Jazze has sprung out as probably this years biggest surprise in the music scene. Relatively unknown in the hiphop R&B scene, she has done numerous gigs and has put in years into performing in the band circuit. Her singing and her style has lead her into this whole other realm of recording, performing and mingling in the hiphop lane.
Saw her perform her rendition of Alicia's Unthinkable alongside Jolo at Amber during my last week in Manila, good stuff. I see her light up Facebook with numerous gigs, has appeared on a CD with Pikaso, released her debut mixtape via her Bandcamp account, worked with Keith Martin on a couple of songs, head up north for a couple of shows in Baguio, come back down and handle photoshoots - appear on music videos, has her song featured on WAVE 89.1 and off sheer hustle and talent alone landed her own set at the recent LDP:Defense Concert at Music Museum last May. Girl has got more grind than some of the guys who claim to be on top of they shit in Pinas. Big year for her, congratulations to you and your team Jazze.
Here's a song that really caught my attention. While recording Queen at Bojams, I heard the raw version -- I mean I was at Bojam's the day they put the track together but left before Jazze could get there. Big congratulations to FLIP MUSIC for making this joint, the horns are amazing!!
