Nimbus previews "So Gone" (Produced by B-Roc)
"So Gone" is previewed here in this YouTube video after "So Wonderful". I swear August man - we just dishing out shit left and right my iggins! I made the beat for So Gone, I must say early 2006 - around the same time as The Community shows. This was a beat initially picked by Enzyme Dynamite but never materialized. Nimbus picked it up in a beat CD I gave him, around October last year - he decided to finally record it. I remember recording Season (Remix), So Gone and another mixtape joint that day - and I had to re-work the drums on this one. Sounding pretty lovely if you ask me. Nimbus' was having a hard time recording this one I tell you - hehehehe. This was sampled via a 70's song and on top of it is the Monica's "So Gone" produced by Missy Elliott.
Hmmm, we might one day release the full version of this. Whatchu think Nimbus? But yeah in more Nimbus news - the project he is working with Gap of Peoples Future is still in heavy production, hitting the studio constantly and one of they tracks will be featured on the Soulfiesta x Kase project "Taking Bakkk The City" alongside Flip Music X LDP X AMP X Chrizo. Also, catch Nimbus perform this August 7 at Wall Lords.
