B-SIDES turns 5 years old

BSIDESREMIX

Mike Swift - There's No Me (REMIX) (Produced by Chrizo)

November 29, 2005 - Absinth, Greenbelt 3; we launched B-Side. A collection of songs by Turbulence and Space Monkey that included tracks like "Homegurl", "So Addictive", "Face The Pain", "You Got Me", "Too Late" and the now classic "Loonie vs. Datu" audio clip and also featured artists such as J.O.L.O, Krook, ILL-J, Mike Swift, Stick Figgas, 7Shots and introduced Turbulence artists Marquiss, Nimbusnine, PHD, God's Will and even Luzon, A.N.E., Prolifik officially to the scene. Tracks were solely produced by Turbulence head producers then, Chrizo, B-Roc and Traumatik.

The album also featured a bonus track entitled "Letter To The President" by One3D produced by Protege. The song came to me last minute, I had already printed the cd but still wanted to the song to be part of the release and serve as a moment to remember between me and my peers. So we included it as a bonus track, will upload that track here soon.

The album was done with such unique vantage point that it featured poetry from Arkane "Rorsarch" which can only be seen in the cd sleeve of that album.

2006 came, and with the added accolades we decided to remix our own release. This time around we picked songs from each of the other producers track they originally made. Chrizo did Nimbusnine's So Addictive -- which saw B-Roc create a remix version for it, Ika 6 Na Misteryo was remixed by Traumatik -- up this page is Mike Swift's There's No Me, originally a B-Roc beat remixed by Chrizo. The CD contains 6 tracks and was only released as a limited copy during the 2006 Philippine Hiphop Awards. We are now releasing it for free download in celebration of B-Sides 5th year.

Releasing classic material since 2005.
