WIPCAPS releases its BALISONG fitteds

Shoutouts to my batang henyo, Batanguenos! NSC! Projekt Kulture heads! Ala eh! Batangas has been putting work down to be recognized as breeding grounds for hiphop. From God's Will's appearance as a finalist on MTV Supahstar, Kat Alano making it on TV, Mike Swift -- Cardinal Tank, Defy, Soul, Buddha -- my peoples from La Marga -- to the present figures of the scene -- DJ Stash Money, who produced beats for Civil War and released the digital download of BAKED! Here is a cap dedicated to you!

FROM WIPCAPS: Wipcaps brings homage to a truly unique Filipino icon: THE BALISONG. The balisong or "butterfly knife" enjoys a hallowed place in the culture and history of the Philippines as it is the key weapon of the Filipino Martial Art known as Eskrima. The legendary Bruce Lee was one of its known practitioners and the knife made a cameo as the weapon of choice by Hit Girl in the 2009 movie Kick Ass.

WIPCAPS presents the Balisong fitted cap to honor this icon. This fitted is an all around black cap with the iconic filipino blade up front in 3D embroidery. The "wooden" handles of the cap are accented with a felt inlay to flex their know-how on embroidery technology. The "metal" parts of the knife use metalic thread to emphasize its gleam. Rounding out the rear of the cap is "Bente Nueve" (street name of the balisong), stitched in a classic cursive font. Get yours now at select wipcaps stockists, www.wipcaps.com and www.hatclub.com.
